Broken Head Aboriginal tours take place Friday afternoons, from 4pm to 5:45pm.

On this tour, guests are taken on a moderate 1.6 km (1hr 45mins) return walk while learning about significant places and hearing local history and traditional stories. There are opportunities to learn some Bundjalung language and about bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artefacts.

During the tour, guests often see an abundance of wildlife, such as pods of dolphins, wallabies and the white-bellied sea eagle to name a few. From coastal rainforest to crashing waves and rocky coves, the views on this walk are truly special. We highly recommend that guests wear appropriate shoes and have a waterbottle, hat and sunscreen.

Meeting Place

This tour takes place at Broken Head (184 Beach Road, Broken Head NSW 2481). The meeting place is at the start of the ‘Three Sisters Walking Track’ which is next to Broken Head Holiday Park (see map below). Please be aware that you will need to pay for parking within Broken Head Nature Reserve and it can be busy, so it is important that you allow enough time to find a car park.
