We are excited to offer 2 special Aboriginal tours with Delta Kay for students and parents of Byron Bay Public School.
* The first tour is on WEDNESDAY 28th APRIL at 4pm at The Pass.
* The second tour is on SATURDAY 1st MAY at 4pm at The Pass.
The price is $20 per adult (students can come along free).
During both tours, guests will be taken on an easy 1.5hr hour walk while learning about significant places and hearing local history and traditional stories. There will be opportunities to learn some Bundjalung language and about bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artefacts. At the end of both tours, guests will enjoy tasting a variety of delicious bush tucker foods and have a nice cup of bush tea.
We kindly ask that you ONLY book if you are a parent of a student at Byron Bay Public School. We highly recommend that guests wear appropriate shoes and have a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and wet weather gear if required.
We offer a free pick-up and drop-off services for guests within 6km of the Byron Bay CBD. If you would like to use this service, please provide your pick-up address when you make your booking. Our pick-up time is 3:30pm. Alternatively, if you wish to provide your own transport, the meeting place is at The Pass, beside the ‘Palm Valley’ sign. Please be aware that you will need to pay for parking at The Pass and it can be very busy, so it is important you allow enough time to find a car park. Please also note that children must be accompanied by their parent or caregiver on this tour.
