TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The team at Explore Byron Bay takes great pride in connecting residents and visitors to our local Aboriginal culture. We always aim to provide a high standard of customer service and deliver great experiences to our guests.
Our mission is to help you have an awesome time while you are on one of our guided Aboriginal tours. Your safety is our concern but it is also your responsibility. We ask that you pay attention to our instructions and to ask when something does not make sense as we are always happy to take the time to explain something further. To help guide you into making the right choices for your safety and the safety of others whilst you are on one of our tours, we ask that you read our comprehensive Terms & Conditions carefully and be aware that you are required to accept these T&C’s when you book one of our tours.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings cancelled or changed with less than 48 hours notice or failure to join the tour will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
In the case of severe weather (heavy rain and dangerous winds), we will have to cancel a tour and guests will receive a full refund, or they can join another tour. Please note that tours will still go ahead in the event of light rain and wind. We ask that you wear appropriate clothing, including covered shoes, hat, sunscreen, raincoat and umbrella.
To cover our own expenses, we require a minimum of 4 guests per tour. If we receive less than 4 bookings, the tour will be cancelled and guests will be provided with a full refund, or they can join another tour.
Accidents, Injuries and Prior Medical Conditions
During our tours, guests a taken on a guided walk that requires a moderate level of physical health and fitness. We aim to accommodate all our guests and walk at a reasonable pace. We ask that our guests always stay on designated footpaths and look carefully where they are walking as there can be some uneven or slippery surfaces. We also ask that guests keep a safe distance from wildlife. Our staff are trained in first and CPR, and carry a first aid kit during tours, so in the event of an accident or injury, we can provide basic care. However, we do not take responsibility for any injuries or accidents that occur to you. For more serious incidents, we may need to call an ambulance for you. In this case, we will not be liable for any medical expenses that may incur, such as ambulance or hospital fees. Furthermore, if you have a prior medical condition that may prohibit you from participating in our tours, then we ask that you reconsider booking with us.
